FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC

DJ BigGrand is one of the two sons of a civil servant family, originally born in Istanbul and originating from Thessaloniki. His fascination with music since childhood and his interest in many different cultures began in 1998 when a friend of his started a music band and worked as a drummer there. He took part in many concerts and events with his friends until his university years. In 2000, he became a turning point in his life when a friend made him listen to electronic music. He had the chance to appear on the front stage with DJ Tiesto, who was famous at that time. Later, Carl COX, Benny Benassi, David Tort, Roger Sanchez etc. He tried to identify the sound closest to him by listening to the sets of the producers and chose DeepHouse, PrograsiveHouse, ElectroHouse, etc. He found his own sound by listening to its derivatives. He had to take a break from music for a while and created time for his education life. He is a career musician with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Marmara University and a master's degree from Bournemouth University in England.
